Early Memories

Things I remember, how I grew up, and the early hardware or experiences that started it all.

My childhood was mostly spent alone in a village after my parents divorced. My dad used to come to visit me every other weekend with him he was brining sweets in his bag gray and black bag with stripes I didnt get to know him well because he died in 2008 but he was good and caring person. I remember the moment I became aware of my existence, which was when I was around 4 or 5 years old. I was walking down a sidewalk next to a kindergarten I never attended since I was homeschooled. It suddenly hit me that I was "alive," and it was a strange feeling—partly scary, even. I spent a lot of time indoors because my grandmother, who was very protective, raised me. She loved me, but at the same time, she could be harsh, and that combination wasn’t great. I wasn’t a bad kid, though. I was always polite and sweet. Most of my time was spent watching TV shows, cartoons, movies, and anything I could get my hands on. My dad eventually suprised me and got me a DVD player and a set of 10 discs that had the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh!. I watched it countless times. I also collected DVDs that came with magazines, which included movies as well. It became a massive collection. To entertain myself, I often played card games against myself, and I always won. It was fun at the time. I used to dream of having my own computer, and for a while, I pretended to have one by using a chocolate candy box. I would press down on the plastic where the candy was stored, imagining it was a keyboard. Eventually, I got my first PC, a Compaq. We didn’t have internet at first, but the guy at the computer store installed a lot of games and movies for me, which I was really grateful for. I spent countless hours playing them. Before I got my PC, when I was attending school, I would go to internet cafés to play games. I spent a lot of time playing GTA: Vice City, Counter-Strike 1.6, and a few other games. Those were some of the best memories from that time. Here is the part that i coudnt understand why did my grandma came with me everytime to school and stayed there basicly having me on a leash, because she was the one caring for me my Mother i was told by my grandma that she didn't care for me. Oh well that's pretty much my childhood what else i remember was that we had animals: bunnys, hcikens
